We All Fragmented

Pixelated pictures appear pounding

Our planned preparations

We labour deep into night hours

Working weekends withdraw us apart

When really we needed to love yet

Quickly intensely we create order

Our energies to cull and collide

A far away lingering sensation

Our power exact precise excellent

Invisible powers of man woman

Fly free to meet in body and spirit

Energetic and newly with young

Our powers make us freeze in time

I did wait wane and wallow until

My children become themselves

Each moment laments itself away

That fragment caught my eye

A glimmer reached downward

In the back hills the cabin resides

Properly placed fine wine hours

Golden tipped glasses into morning

On the other side of a black door

I see myself wide eyed in a whirl of water

Deep into my debate with desire

These memories persist like cut chards

For it is there love suffers silence

To will the way to win one another in

To a fallow tender ground once green

The blues and purples combine to say

The day is new for those who hope

It is that water lapping that keeps each

Dream alive for we make wishes reach

Beyond the up down broken stair case

We all fragmented torn into a jagged lie

The record is scratched we are repeating

A measured hollowed beat persists

Beyond the pale edge where Whiteness

Is saying: “Yes” to our bloodletting ways

Don’t let me forget the order of our days

While screaming I move us side ways

I measure the inert space inside myself

A blood red line reveals a deep wound

I promise you I did count carefully

Until I lost track of our long lost love

I in fact: let it go free so to live again

Only until this pressure is real deep

Are we known for who we are seen

“Contain the fire lest she consume us”

I see you in the shining castle in the air

To capture a lie that is lost on all of us

We see faintly now tomorrow is the clear
