In the Wind

Child of the Fraser

South Fraser Shores

In the wind I perch awaiting decisions made / by women who lead the surge of rising tide / an insistent undertow here at early dawn speaks loud / alone a generation sleeps young fresh innocent and swarthy / not similar to my stance they bide a turn / for their voice to be heard in due time / if I speak in riddles accept it as so / since those who will see and listen at dusk / know the true understanding and meaning spoken once / I come to usher in a time of war / not of mine own will I testify to all / what I am asked to deliver in the wind
