Kiss Me.
"Kiss me."
Ryder turned and looked at Kit with a confused and slightly offended expression. "What?"
Kit grinned and said, "You heard me. Kiss."
Had they not been walking around downtown, Ryder would have accused him of being drunk or even high. "Why would I do that?" he asked.
"Because I asked you to and because we're friends and friends do things for each other." Kit fluttered his eyelashes up at him.
Ryder turned his head away from him. "Friends don't kiss each other on a whim. Besides, I have a girlfriend," he huffed.
"Yeah," Kit mused, "but you know she would totally kiss me, dating or not." When Ryder whipped back to him to object, Kit said, "She would! Because she's my FRIEND."
Ryder sighed. He knew that Kit would keep bugging him about it as they walked, so he might as well get it over with. After staring at the little cat boy for a few seconds in disbelief, he leaned down and kissed him right on the lips, then quickly pulled away and darted his eyes.
He could hear the blush in Kit's voice. "Aw, well aren't you a sweetie?" he cooed, nudging him to get his attention back to him. Ryder's face was a shade of red that would make him furious. Kit found it cute.
"You enjoyed it, didn't you?~" Kit purred with a smile. Ryder narrowed his eyes and looked away once more, stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"No! It was just… really embarrassing."
"Suuuure…"
