Bubblegum

Hariette sat in the library love seat with Leon, waiting for him to finish reading a book. Her legs, fully exposed except for her booty shorts, were propped up on a little table she had moved there just for that purpose. She had her hands behind her head and was smacking a piece of bright pink gum in her mouth.

The first time she blew a bubble, it popped loudly and Leon turned his head sharply to look at her. When she saw his frustrated expression, she smirked and said, "Oops." He rolled his eyes and continued reading the book. Hariette continued making obnoxious noises with her gum and bouncing her foot to nonexistent music.

She popped her gum again, this time much louder and messier. Some of the other people at the library noticed her. Leon looked at her again, then saw strangers' eyes and his face turned red. Hariette enjoyed watching him get flustered, especially if it was her doing. "What are you doing?" he harshly whispered.

She smiled again. "Just chewing my gum. Ignore me." Leon frowned, his tail lashing, and put his attention back on the book.

It wasn't very long before Hariette started smacking the gum with her mouth open, then blowing another bubble and popping it with a sly smile on her face. Leon shut his book, turned to her, and hissed, "Will you please be quiet? For, like, a minute?"

"Nah." There was a long, tense moment between the couple. Finally Leon let out a deep breath, glanced around at the now empty library, and cracked a small smile.

"You're not gonna quit, are you?" he asked quietly, scooching closer to her in the cushions. Their legs were touching. Actually, a lot of them was touching.

Hariette wasn't sure what he was doing. But she smacked the gum again and shook her head, still smiling.

He grabbed her arm and leaned in closer to her face. The tips of their noses were just about rubbing together, and she could feel his breath against her cheeks. "Well, not without any help," he whispered.

"What-" Hariette stuttered, but before she could let any more words out he pressed his lips against hers and pulled her closer. Then he started opening his mouth, and she opened hers out of habit. Immediately Leon let his tongue in and started making out with her. He wasn't the best at it, but it was the thought that counts. It was weird to Hariette, though, because Leon hardly ever did this stuff willingly in public, let alone a library with children. Whatever. Nobody was watching now.

Leon pulled back and grinned. Hariette chuckled and said, "Wow, I'm surprised you-" Again she froze mid-sentence, in shock. Leon started chewing the gum in his mouth, then blew a bubble and popped it.

With a wink Leon said, "Can I keep reading now?"

Hariette's shock wore off, and she giggled and pecked his lips. "Of course, as long as you don't start smacking that gum…"
